Nesma Holding Strengthen Its Logistics Operations In King Abdullah Economic City
As part of Nesma Holding expansion and growth plans, they have recently signed a contract with King Abdullah Economic City for an industrial land plot in KAEC Industrial Valley-phase 2, where Nesma will establish a regional logistics center in cooperation with DHL International. Nesma is considered one of the biggest providers of logistic services in the Gulf, handling four million containers a year.
The contract was signed by Mr. Fahd Al-Rasheed, Managing Director and CEO of KAEC, and Mr. Faisal Al-Turki, Chairman VP of Nesma Holding. Welcoming Nesma Holding to the community of leading local and international companies that have made KAEC and the Industrial Valley the center of their regional operations, Mr. Al-Rasheed said: “Nesma Holding is one of the leaders of the real estate management and development industry and we are delighted that the company has chosen to invest in a logistic services center at KAEC as part of its diversification strategy.”
“Logistics are one of the main sectors that we have targeted for KAEC since logistic services provide essential support for almost all of the businesses operating in the city and the Industrial Valley,” he added.
Mr. Al-Rasheed went on to say: “KAEC is moving forward at fast pace through a wide range of commercial and industrial enterprises that will ensure continuity and prosperity for generations to come.”
